We’re back for another week behind the scenes of our bar program at EDA. We’ve been working on expanding our beverage options and we hope what we’ve brought in will make you smile! Read on to learn what’s new and ready to-go!

West + Wilder Canned Wines
At EDA we are always on the hunt for interesting takes on classics, especially from behind the bar. These West + Wilder Canned Wines have been on the to-go menu for a minute, but we wanted to give them a proper nod, because they’re very, very drinkable!
West + Wilder is inspired by their appreciation for the amazing West Coast wines, and the people that produce them in California, Oregon and Washington. Not only do these states produce amazing wine, but they also have some of the world’s most incredible scenery. They wanted to create a wine that could be enjoyed anywhere, whether you’re enjoying in your living room, on your balcony in the city, or in a campsite in Yosemite. These wines are meant to be portable, without the fuss of a corkscrew or worrying about a traditional glass bottle. Their mission: great wine, that just happens to be in a can.
Their wines celebrate our incredible region, and as proud Californians we’re excited to carry them for our customers. They offer a few varieties, but currently we’re carrying Pinot Noir and Sparking Rosé, and we have them all ready for you to enjoy at home on the couch, here on our patio, or wherever your quarantine adventures might take you!.
Sparkling Rosé: Fruity, Floral, Zingy, Refreshing
This gem of a sparkling wine originates from a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes from California, and once blended produces a truly enjoyable wine that feels celebratory and elegant, but can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime. Its fruit forward notes are notable, with strawberries, plums, and the last taste of watermelon before the end of the season coming in strong. A bright acidity and a bit of softness comes in and refreshes the palate, and balances out the sweetness. It’s 2020, so enjoy a bit of bubbly whenever the occasion calls for it, and this is a great choice.
Pinot Noir: Bold, Bright, Ruby Red
Looking for something different, but still very much delicious? West + Wilder have a new, limited edition Pinot Noir canned wine, and it’s definitely worth checking out! Sourcing their Pinot Noir grapes from California’s own Sonoma County, this wine is bold, deliciously balanced, and takes us to the Russian River Valley, with hints of earthiness, balanced out by acidity from cherry and raspberry notes. There’s a lot of bold flavor packed in this little can!
We carry all these flavors in a 3-pack, so you can enjoy one with us, and take the rest home!
Hot Apple Cider
Hot Apple Cider: Classic or Spiked
It wouldn’t be fall without a classic warm cocktail, so this year our team has created a warm, cozy, craveable beverage fit for the season. Available with booze or without, each batch is slowly mulled with classic fall spices, like cinnamon sticks, allspice, anise and cloves, brightened with fresh lemon juice and orange rinds. If you like it spiked, we then add a dash of brandy and Henry McKenna Bourbon Whiskey. Enjoy as the days start getting cooler and the nights start getting longer!
